When people walk through the parks and watch the costumed characters jumping around and doing everything they can to entertain kids and their families, they usually forget about the fact that there are real people behind them, and boy does it get hot inside these costumes.
Can you imagine walking around with basically a human shield when it’s 98 degrees outside? Some performers got to the point that they literally fainted. The costumes have been modified over the years and they are a bit more ventilated, however it still must be incredibly hot inside these furry costumes.
