Si and Phil’s mother is not talked about on the show as the two boys don’t like discussing the fact that their mother suffered a mental breakdown when she was young and was later diagnosed as a manic-depressive. The two boys were very young when their mother was going through all of this. We know about this thanks to Si’s book, Si-cology. The family as a whole really likes to publish books filled with unknown information about themselves.
