When producers were looking to cast the role of Francis ‘Baby’ Houseman, they didn’t think that they were going to go with 26-year-old Jennifer Grey, who was a full ten years older than her meant to be character.
However, in her audition, Grey stunned everyone with her ability to shrink back her years and become an innocent 16 year old. She had five minutes to wow the producers, and she sure did! Could you imagine someone else as Baby?
