Cohn was chosen to play the role of Natalie Green in the show ‘The Facts of Life’. She was discovered by actress Charlotte Rae while Rae was doing research for the show. Cohn had the role for nearly ten years, but unfortunately became typecast by the time her role ended.

Mindy Cohn has since had a number of roles and guest appearances. She has even taken on some voice acting work. Her most recent work was playing the role of Rose in ‘You Light Up My Christmas’.
