At the very beginning of American Choppers, the show was aired by the Discovery Channel after Pilgrim Studios (known for shows such as Ghost Hunters) sold them the rights.
A few years down the line, the show was sold to TLC and eventually moved on to Country Music Television as viewings waned. However, as it goes in the TV world, things went full circle. The reunion episode featuring Shaquille O’Neal was broadcast on the Discovery Channel once again.
