The famous Aunt Viv from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actually ended up being portrayed by two different women, both of which were rather young to be Hilary’s mom. Karyn Parsons was 24 when she first started playing Will Smith’s ditzy and spoiled cousin in the show.
The original Aunt Viv was played by Janet Hubert, who is only 10 years older than Parsons. Daphne Reid replaced Hubert after season three, but in real life, Parsons was still only 18 years younger than the new Aunt Viv.
