Appearances in sci-fi flick “Planet of the Apes” and action drama “Driven” signaled a good start for Estella Warren’s Hollywood career, but it didn’t last long. When she was cast in the universally panned crime comedy “Kangaroo Jack,” her hopes of becoming a star soon disappeared.
A couple of television films interspersed the occasional panned movie, leading from one disaster to the next. It didn’t help that in 2011, she ended up on the wrong side of the law after crashing into several parked cars while under the influence.
