Claire Danes rose to fame in the mid 90’s when she played the role of Angela Chase on My So Called Life. The role on the teen drama gained won her a couple of awards, including a Golden Globe for Best Actress. Danes also moved to the big screen with films like Little Women, where she played alongside Winona Ryder, Susan Sarandon and Kirsten Dunst. One of her most memorable roles was on the modern version of the Shakespearean play, Romeo & Juliet, where she co starred with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Claire Danes is keeping herself very busy with the role of Carrie Mathison, a CIA agent with bipolar disorder on the drama series, Homeland. Danes has been on the show since 2011 and it’s one of the most important stepping stones in her career as she won seveal awards for her performance. In 2012 and 2013 she won a Golden Globe for Best Actress as well as an Emmy. She also entered the prestigious list of Times Magazine of 100 most influential people in the world.
