Young Macaulay got started in 1990 with Home Alone. His adorable plump face, all scared from the furnace is as adorable today as it was then. He continued his child acting skills with the sad and moving film My Girls, and then onto The Good Son, The Pagemaster, and, of course, Richie Rich. Culkin was considered to be the most successful child actor since Shirley Temple and her cute little curls came onto the scene.

Sadly, Macaulay hasn’t done much acting since then. He, as many child stars, had a lot of trouble getting his earnings from his parents who, for lack of a better term, got greedy and controlled everything, up untill he was finally emancipated at 16. After that he seemed to be quietly living with fellow actress, Mila Kunis, until their breakup in 2006, after which he went off the grid, and has been said to be struggling with substance abuse.
