When it comes to New York City, one of the busiest and most-visited tourist hot spots is certainly Time Square. It’s where people go when they want to get that classic “Welcome to New York City” feeling.
With its bright neon lights, beeping cars, and thousands of tourists, it’s easy to understand why. However, Times Square wasn’t always so busy. In fact, images like this prove that it used to be quiet enough for a horse and buggy to roll through. What an amazing blast from the past!
