The person who wrote this post seemed to be trying to make the point that people didn’t like dad bods, and young studs were what women really wanted. They were using the movie ‘Magic Mike’ as their example, but this was debunked pretty quickly.
Another user pointed out that ‘Shrek’ outperformed ‘Magic Mike’ at the box office by taking $484 million, while the other movie earned $167 million. In fact, the British film, ‘The Full Monty,’ about a bunch of guys with dad bods taking their clothes off, took $258 million.
