Shayne ends up ‘doing away with’ her best friend by accident but decides that it’s not that big of a deal and creates a whole new version of a girl who used to be considered nothing in the social circles of the high school, to distract from the fact that the other girl is gone.

Rose McGowan, who played Courtney Shayne, has been in a long list of shows and films.
Her role in the series, Charmed, put her on the map in the early 2000s. McGowan was also in the film, The Black Dahlia, Elvis, Planet Terror, as well as Quentin Tarantino’s film, Death Proof.
