Alyson and her husband, Alexis Denisof, are godparents to Joss Whedon’s son, Arden. Joss was the creator of the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where Alyson and Alexis not only acted but met and fell in love through. Joss had struck a deep friendship with the two and asked them to be godparents to Arden, as he could not imagine a better suited couple for the task.
