[post_page_title]Potholders[/post_page_title]
Sure, they’re designed to withstand a lot of heat so that your hands don’t have to, but most potholders aren’t designed to be used in the microwave. Not only do they usually have silicon rubber pads, which are a burn hazard that’ll definitely leave your microwave stinky, but even the cloth ones can catch on fire if exposed to shortwave radiation.
Besides, if you have potholders you should be reheating and preparing your meals on a stovetop or in the oven anyway, instead of in the microwave!
