[post_page_title]Butter[/post_page_title]
Several recipes call for warm butter, but if you keep yours in the fridge, you may be inspired to take a shortcut and instead nuke the pad to quickly ready it. Don’t!
Not only is butter a fat, which means that it doesn’t melt in quite the way you’d expect, but it can also store up a surprising amount of heat and then explode into sizzling goo once moved. Either set this room-temperature safe dairy out the night before, or keep it under a covered dish on your counter.
