World's first surviving septuplets – look at them 20 years later

These septuplets were the first ever to survive birth. It’s very rare to see multiple births end successfully, or for all of the babies to grow up to be healthy young adults. Perhaps that’s why this story is something quite incredible.

Bobbi and Kenny McCaughey had their first child on January 3, 1996. Their little girl was named Mikayla Marie and was a little bit of a miracle.

Bobbi was born with a malfunctioning pituitary gland which had caused fertility problems over the years. To have Mikayla Marie was a little bit of a dream come true, but still, they wanted to expand their family. They had to consider different ways to help them have another child after Mikayla Marie was born.
