Whether we believe ghosts are real or not, it’s difficult not to be interested in the paranormal. We see people online talking about it all the time, and some of their stories are incredibly compelling. With the technology available to us nowadays, it’s easier than ever to record any supposed ghostly activity happening in our homes. For those who believe in the supernatural, that’s convinced them even more that ghosts do exist.
Former Buzzfeed writer and illustrator Adam Ellis spent the tail end of 2017 posting about his experiences living in a haunted apartment on Twitter, and a lot of the world paid attention. The story has been ongoing for months, with Ellis regularly updating followers whenever something new happened. This wasn’t just a case of make believe, though. Ellis had videos to back up some of the strange goings-on, which included things falling off the wall and chairs moving by themselves.
Anyone who’s a fan of ghost stories ought to love reading about Adam’s encounters with Dear David, the supposed spirit living in his house, but prepare to be chilled. As stories go, this is one of the more believable, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the ghost turned out to be real. It’s no wonder that Sloane’s boyfriend is terrified to stay at her apartment. Ellis’ experience with his spirit has given him sleepless nights and left him paranoid at times – who would willingly ask for that?
Sloane is hopeful that Steve Harvey might be able to show her partner the lighter side of the paranormal, though. She reckons the talk show host has the perfect solution to her problem, even though he has no prior experience with it whatsoever. Then again, this is Steve Harvey we’re talking about here. The man has an answer for everything.
