The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the best universes ever to exist. Sure, our universe is pretty amazing, and we’d like to thank it for keeping us all alive, but Marvel is truly something special. Over the years, Stan Lee and his team have brought some of the most impressive superheroes and villains into our life, and we’ve watched more amazing movies than even Iron Man could count.
While we don’t like to discriminate against the mutants and supers who live in the Marvel Universe, it’s fair to say that there are a few who stand out from the crowd. Yes, we’re talking about Spider-Man, Captain America, Hulk, Captain Marvel, Star-Lord, and even everyone’s favorite God of Thunder, Thor. Over the years, Thor has been given a real chance to shine, and Chris Hemsworth has brought this Norse story to life within the original 2011 Thor movie, as well as the 2013 sequel, Thor: The Dark World. Yet, the real fun began in 2017 when the third movie within the Thor franchise reared its head.
Thor: Ragnarok once again brings the likes of Loki and Odin into the forefront of our attention, but also brings a few more characters into the mix. Cate Blanchett takes on the role of Hela, Jeff Goldblum takes on the role of the Grandmaster, and Tess Thompson takes on the role of Valkyrie – and she’s pretty darn awesome.
While we like to think that we got a chance to really get to know the character of Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok, we don’t think we will ever truly know what goes on inside the mind of this female warrior. We love a good superhero movie as much as the next person, which is why we basically fell in love with Thor: Ragnarok when it came into our lives in 2017. This movie provided us with the third installment in the Thor franchise, and, of course, featured the legend that is Chris Hemsworth.
